Discovery is not a conclusion

Finding an item is only a starting point. Any public conclusion must make clear who the item may suit, why it was included, its disadvantages, its evidence, and any commercial relationship.

What we do not guarantee

A shop link does not guarantee current stock, price, total cost, returns, or delivery to a reader’s country. We direct readers to the official source where current conditions should be checked.

What we disclose

We identify affiliate links, our own shops, related shops, and cases where there is no commercial relationship.

About the images on this site

Every editorial image here is generated, not photographed. Each one carries a caption saying so, and this section states it once for the site as a whole. They exist to show the mood of a style or a category, and we keep a record of how each was made.

We never use a generated image as evidence about a product. Appearance, dimensions, materials, availability and our reasons for including something are never drawn from them. Those come from the sources we link, with the date we checked.

The real photographs are the ones that belong to other people. Where you see an actual product photograph, it was published by the brand or shop, and we name the owner and link the page it came from. We do not alter them.

Analytics and your privacy

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand broad traffic patterns and site performance. Cloudflare says this service does not use cookies or collect personal data from visitors, and does not track people across its customers’ sites.

Google Analytics is optional. It loads only after you choose to allow it, and helps us learn which reading paths and source checks are useful. We keep advertising storage, ad personalisation and Google Signals off. We do not send names, email addresses or form contents as analytics events, and the analytics identifier is limited to the browser session.

You can continue without Google Analytics and still use every page. Your choice is saved in this browser for up to 180 days so we do not ask on every visit. Use Analytics in the footer to change it later.
